Responsible Gambling
Betting should be entertainment, not a way to make money or to deal with stress. These are the things worth knowing before and while you play.
You must be 18 or over
Accounts are for adults only. Never let anyone else use your account.
Set your own limits
Decide what you can afford to lose before you deposit, and treat it as the cost of the entertainment. Do not increase a stake to win back a loss — the odds do not change because you are behind.
Warning signs
- Betting more than you planned, or more often than you planned.
- Chasing losses, or betting to escape worry or low mood.
- Borrowing money, or hiding how much you bet from people close to you.
- Losing interest in things you used to enjoy.
